The 86it Anti-Litter Campaign is on a mission to end littering behavior while creating a sense of community pride.
Help us keep the momentum rolling by:
- Take the pledge not to litter and request 86it swag such as car litter bags, desktop trash cans, magnets and stickers.
- Conducting a DIY litter cleanup by using an 86it litter cleanup kit
- Report litterers through the NC Swat-A-Litterbug Program.
- And don’t forget to likeus on Facebook and follow us on Twitter
If you clean it, we will supply it.
Check out a litter kit and we will provide you with all the fixin’s to conduct a DIY litter cleanup. From gloves to garbage bags and safety vests we’ve got you covered with everything you need. Simply fill out the form and we’ll deliver the kit to you and pick it back up when you’re done. Take some pictures and send ‘em to us – we love bragging about our 86ers.
Attention Scouts: earn the Respect the Can patch.
We’ve partnered with Girl Scouts – North Carolina Coastal Pines to develop the Respect the Can patch. By completing 5 of 10 litter related activities, Girl Scouts will learn, act and teach about all things litter. The Respect the Can Activity Kit is available for check-out from any of the Girl Scout council’s service centers. Girl Scouts, contact your membership director or closest service center for details. Boy Scout Leaders, send us an email and we’ll help you earn a patch, too!
Volunteer. Be part of the solution.
Would you like to help us out at one of our events? We often need help staffing booths at festivals or organizing clean ups. We’ll even help you earn community service credit if you need it. Contact us for more information.
